What did he say?

"A woman sits in a church while she listens as the preacher speaks about the word of God. In the middle of his preaching, he begins to speak in an unknown tongue or language. This is also refered to as the tongue or language of angels. He then returns from this act to speaking plain English again. The woman looks over to her mother and says,"What was that all about? I am confused, and what did he say?





This is the testimony of Donetta Henley October 2009, one of the many people who wrote me about this thing that goes on in the churches of today.



There are many different beliefs concerning today's topic of speaking in tongues. Some people were taught that if they made strange sounds with their mouths, that it was evidence of the Holy spirit being inside of that person. Others have been taught not to believe such a thing.



Today we will be taking a closer look at what the Bible says Concerning this Matter.

Let us start in the book of 1st Corinthians chapter 13 verse 1 where we find Paul, one of God's most intrusted servants saying, "Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling symbol."



Let us focus on the fact that Paul acknowledges that there are languages of men, but there are languages of angels also.



This is the 1st time it is mentioned in the bible that there are other languages other than human languages.



Therefore we can concluded that it is a fact and no doubt that there is a language of angels.



Now let us discount many of the mythes that are out here concerning this language of angels.



In the book of Acts chapter 1 we find Jesus instructing his disciples on what is to come after He returns to heaven. Starting at verse 5 Jesus says, " For John truly baptized with water; but you shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost(Spirit) not many days hence.



He then farther said unto them in verse 8 of Acts chapter 1," You shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost(Spirit) is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."



Notice how Jesus told them that the Holy Spirit would enter into their bodies and give them power. How afterwards they would witness or preach the word of God to the entire world, beginning in Jerusalem.



We all know that the Words of God become true and what Jesus said to His disciples had to come to pass as well, as all scripture must be fulfilled.



So in chapter 2 of the book of Acts on the day of Pentecost they received this power.



3" And there appeared unto them cloven( divided) tongues(languages) like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4"And they were filled with the Holy Ghost(Spirit), and began to speak with other tongues(languages), as the Spirit gave them utterance."



Notice that the Bible says that what appeared unto them looked like fire, but was cloven languages.



The word cloven in the Greek means: to partition thoroughly, distribution, or divide. #1266 in the Strong's Exhaustive concordance. spelling: diamerizo.



This means that God had the Holy Spirit distribute different languages to each of His disciples so that they could carry out the task that Jesus left for them to do.



let us take a look at what happened next in chapter 2 of the book of Acts.



5"And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.6"Now when this was noised(spread)abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
7" And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, behold are not all these which speak Galileans?
8" And how hear we every man in our own tongue(language), wherein we were born?



Notice that the scriptures said that the men visiting Jerusalem where important men of every nation under heaven, Just as Jesus said to His disciples that they would witness to the uttermost part of the earth.



If you have ever read the entire Bible you will notice that the disciple did not travel the entire earth.



So how could the fulfil what Jesus said they were going to do?



God brought the men of the entire earth to Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost that is how they fulfllied the task.



Let's take a look at this in verses 9 through 11 of the book of Acts chapter 2.



9" Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10"Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
11" Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues(languages) the wonderful works of God.



SO WE SEE THAT WHAT HAPPENED IN THE BOOK OF ACTS CHAPTER 2 HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE LANGUAGE OF ANGELS!



WE CAN CONCLUDE THAT THIS WAS GOD SPEARDING THE GOSPEL TO THE ENTIRE WORLD IN THE OTHER TONGUES OR LANGUAGES OF MEN. AMEN!



In the book of Acts chapter19 verse 6 it speaks of twelve men who Paul laid hands on and they began to speak with tongues and prophesied.



Notice that it says," and prophesied."



If you read the whole chapter you will see that they were in Asia during that time and stayed for upto two years. Verse 10 of chapter 19 of the book of Acts.



Question: what language is spoken in Asia?



Notice that it says that after Paul laid hands on them, they spake with tongues or languages and prophesied.



So in other words, they preached the gospel to the Asians in the Asian language and nothing else!



THIS WOULD BE THE 2ND MYTH DISCOUNTED.



Now let us take a look at an example of the other tongue or language that Paul spoke of in the book of 1st Corinthians.



In the book of 1st Corinthians chaper 12 Paul speaks about the spiritual gifts of God.



He says that God has given some of us the gift of speaking in different languages, to some others the gift of interpreting languages, found in verse 10 of 1st Corinthians chapter 12.



Many people that are superstitious, in their ignorance take this to mean that someone will make wierd sounds and another will know what those wierd sounds were.



That is not what Paul is saying here in 1st Corinthians chapter 12.



Notice that He starts the chapter off with saying, " I would not have you Ignorant concerning spiritual gifts. Chapter 12 verse 1.



He was simply saying that God has bless each of us with different talents,such as the gift of wisdom, Example King Solomon , such as the gift of Knowledge, Example Daniel , such as the gift of faith, Example Abraham , such as the gift of healing, Example: Luke he was a Doctor, etc.



Paul was simply saying that God gave some of us the gift to speak more than one language.



Some people cannot speak a language but they can understanded it, this would be an example of a person with the gift of interpretation.



Please read the whole 12th chapter of 1st Corinthians and gain understanding by following the subject. Paul would not have you Ignorant believing some ridiculous theory of people making strange sounds to be the evidence of speaking in the tongue of angels.



Now let us get down to the bare root of this thing concerning the tongue or language of angels.



Chapter 14 of 1st Corinthians verses 1 & 2
"Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that you prophesy. For he that speaks in an unknown tongue (tongue of angels) speaks not unto men, but unto God: for no man understands him; how be it in the spirit he speaks mysteries."



So if you do have the gift of speaking in the language of angels, paul says no one will understand you, because people are not angels.



Verses 3 & 4
"But he that prophesies speaks unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. He that speaks in an unknown tongue (language of angels ) edifies himself; but he that prophesies edifies the church.



Notice Paul says again that if you speak in the language of angels in public, you are trying to make yourself out to be something more than what you are. In other words, to God be the glory not yourself.



Now here comes the time you see just how sharp you are.



Paul continues to says," that it would not matter to him whether we all spoke with tongues(languages of men) or not but it would be better if we prophesied(to prophesy: means to speak the word of God.) verses 5.



Paul says if I pray in an unknown tongue(language of angels) my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful. 1st corinthians 14:14



He continues to says if you are speaking blessing over the church while you are in the spirit(language of angels), how can those who occupies the room that are unlearned know when to say amen? seeing that they do not understand what you are saying. 1st Corinthians 14:16



Paul says,"I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than you all: yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue(language of angels). 1st Corinthians 14:18-19



Notice Paul says that if you have this gift it is ok to speak it, just not in the church.



Paul says,"be not children in understanding." In the law it is written, with men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, says the Lord." 1st corinthians 14:20-21



"If therefore the whole church come together into one place, and all speak with tongues(other languages of men or of angels) and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that you are mad?" 1st Corinthians 14:23



Why is it that when you visit a religious organization or church you find confusion. everyone of you having somethings to add to the service: a psalm,a doctrine(teaching),a tongue(language), a revelation, an interpretation(opinion)? Paul says, " let all things work together and be done to edify the people who attend. 1st Corinthians 14:26



"If any man speak in an unknown tongue(language of angels), let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret." 1st Corinthians 14:27



In other words it should be done orderly, one at a time and not a bunch of people making sounds at the same time.



Also be very careful when believing anyone who claims to be speaking in the tongue of angels because Jesus warned us saying," all that say they are of Me are not of Me."and many false prophet shall come in my name and will decieve many." Matthew 24:24



Paul goes on to say,"But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God."1st corinthians 14:28



I don't know if it can get any clearer than that, if a person yells out something in an unknown tongue while in the church and no one interprets it, it was not the Spirit of God speaking through them.



We see this all the time in todays churches, the Pastor will be speaking, then all of a sudden yell out something in, what he says is an unknown tongue or language of angels. He never has anyone interpret what he just said, but goes back to speaking his sermon in regular english.



According to the word of God, this should never happen in God's church.



"For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints." 1St Corinthians 14:33



"But if any man be ignorant, let him ignorant." 1st Corinthians 14:38



"wherefore, brothers and Sisters, covet to prophesy(speak the word of God), and forbid not to speak with tongues(languages)."
"Let all things be done decently and in order." 1st corinthians 14:39-40.



In order words if some holy roller whiches to be ignorant and decides to do the opposite of what the bible says about speaking in an unknown tongue without a interpreter, let them alone God will deal with them in His own time.

The Trouble maker.

There is a saying, "What would Jesus do?

We have both heard and read of what Jesus would do concerning the people of the world.

How He showed kindness and great love toward them that knew Him not.

"Jesus came into this world not to call the righteous,but sinners to repentance." Matthew 9:13

But now let us take a look at what Jesus would do concerning the religious practices and teachings of men.

Jesus first went home to the city where he was raised and went into the church of His youth. He was offered a chance to read from the book of Isaiah. Jesus opened the book and read,
"The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord." Luke chapter 4 :17-18.

He then closed the book and gave it back to the minister and sat down. So all of the religious people are looking at him wondering why he stopped reading and Jesus said,"This day is the scripture fulfilled in your ears."

In other words Jesus got them all upset by saying He was the fulfillment of the scriptures in which they read from.

Jesus had to know that His statement was going to start some trouble.

The religious people got so mad that they tried to kill him. read Luke 4:28-30 for reference.

Again Jesus went into another church and there was a man there with a withered hand. The religious people were watching him so that they could accuse him of break their laws according to their understanding of the scriptures concerning of the Sabbath of the Lord. Then Jesus purposely, in front of the religious leaders healed the man and broke their law. Mark chapter 3:1-6

These people were so uptight that they began to plan how they might destroy him.

I sarcastically say," Jesus sure believed in making friends with religious people."

Some would even say that He was a trouble maker.

Jesus went into another church and called the priest hypocrites to their faces in front of the whole congregation. Matthews 23

"Woe unto you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!for you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for you neither go in yourselves, neither suffer you them that are entering to go in.Woe unto you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!for you devour widows houses, and for a pretence make long prayer:therefore you shall receive the greater damnation.Woe unto you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!for you compass sea and land to make one proselyte(convert), and when he is made, you make him two fold more the child of hell than yourselves.Woe unto you, you blind guides, which say, whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor." Matthew 23:13-17

Jesus called them out in front of the whole church and exposed them for all the wrong things this religious organization was doing.

Jesus had to know that this would make these people angry with him, that there would be trouble that followed.

Jesus went up to Jerusalem on the day of worship and found the religious leaders, selling there books,tapes,Cd's, DVDs,prayer clothes,etc.

owe,I am sorry that is what He would find them doing now, not back then.

But he found them selling in the building that was suppose to be the house of God and Jesus started hitting these people with a rope and throwing over the tables on which the merchandise was sat. John 2:13-15

"And the Jew's passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, and found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changer's money, and overthrew the tables."

If someone did this today in the churches, the religious leaders would have him thrown in jail or worst.

What would Jesus do?

Today people would describe a man or woman of God as being very quiet,nice,cooperative,etc.

There is a time and place for these things, there is a time for something much more intense or serious also.

John the Baptist was also sent from God to speak out against religion.

John preached the baptism of repentance and the religious people were offended because the people left there churches to follow after the truth. Matthew 3:1-17

"Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judea and all the region round about Jordan,and were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins." Matthew 3:5-6.

Notice that it says that all the people of the region came out to him. which means the ones who worshipped with the religious people left there religions.

This could not have made them happy.

Verse 7, "But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducee(two of the top religions of that time)come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who has warned you to flee from the wrath to come?"

John called these people snakes

If this would happen today, some might call him a trouble maker.

Many people today believe in some kind of religion. They believe that, their religion is the word of God and if someone speaks out against them they will say that he is a trouble maker and he is sent by the Devil.

In today's study we have noticed that this might be a misconception,seeing how God had Jesus and many others confront the churches about what they were doing.

In the book of Jeremiah chapter 7 God instructed Jeremiah to stand in the entrance of the church and warn the people that they should not listen to the priests.

In today's times the religious people of that church would probably have hurt that man, just as they tried to kill Jesus.

" The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will you do in the end there of?" Jeremiah 5:31

People today as well as back then want to serve their religion in peace, they want to be left alone in their deception, but God sometimes likes to stirring things up, He will not have the wicked representing Him.

"To whom shall I speak? and give warning, that they may hear? behold their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold the word of the Lord is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it." Jeremiah 6:10

" For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest everyone deals falsely." Jeremiah 6:13

God says during that time that the people that were suppose to be men of God, were living double lives. They were deceived themselves and were not able to teach God's words properly either.

"Trust you not in lying words, saying, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, are these." Jeremiah 7:4

In other words, amen, amen, amen, these are the anointed men of God.

To believe that everyone with the title of a man of God is a man of God would be a mistake. "Study to show you self approved before God, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2nd Timothy 2:15.

"believe not every spirit but try the spirit by the spirit whether they be of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." 1st John 4:1

"Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit." Jeremiah 7:8
"will you steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom you know not; and come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations? Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes?behold, even I have seen it, saith the Lord." Jeremiah 7:8-11

God told Jeremiah to speak out publicly against the church where these people attended weekly. Told him to stand outside their walls as if to protest against the lies they taught their people.

Some would say that this is nor was the proper way to do this, that Jeremiah should have spoken to the priest in private about their incorrect teachings. Some might even say that Jeremiah should have mind his own business and if he was really concerned he should have just prayed for them. But look what God said to Jeremiah about praying for people who are disobedient, that hold the office of priest.

"Therefore pray not you for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear you." Jeremiah 7:16

God's ways are above our ways. No one can know the mind of the Lord our God. 1st Corinthians 2:16.

God does not always have for us to warn people so that they can be saved, sometimes He just wants to have it on record that they were told. So that on the day of judgement God has a good case against the disobedient.

"Therefore you shall speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to you:you shall also call unto them; but they will not answer you" Jeremiah 7:27

Some might say, " why go through all the trouble? If the people are not going to listen to me, why would you have me go God?

I have heard many misquote the Bible saying, "let everything be done decently and in order."1st Corinthians 14:40

Thinking this statement to means that God would always have us do things very civil and without making trouble.

They need to go read some more, because obviously they have not read about Jesus.

Because if IT is not the Holy Spirit dwelling in side of her then IT is not worth marriage.

The Bible says," be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion has light with darkness?" 2ND Corinthians 6:14

In other words if you are living your life for God then you should not be looking to marry someone who is not.

Sisters, you need to learn that you are worth more than that!

According to Steve, a women should not fornicate with a man sooner than 90days to gage whether the man is seriously interested in her.

That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard in my life and why are we taking the advice of some worldly comedian.

The Bible says,"No fornicators shall inherit the Kingdom of God." 1St Corinthians 6:9-10

You mean to tell me that your soul is only worth 90 days?

I'll give good love, I'll buy your clothes, I'll cook your dinner too.I'll pay your rent, your faithful lover, as soon as I get home from work. Written by Baby Face.

You mean to tell me, that God would have you work all day long. Only to have you take your hard earned money and spend it on the wants, of another grown person of the opposite sex?

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard!men why are you putting yourself under all this pressure, under all this foolishness?

Some men have bought into this worldly programing,thinking that they are obligated to spend money on women in order to have a relationship with one.That is just outright silly!if a woman is not interested in you because you will not shower them with things, date someone who will like you for you.

Brothers, you need to learn that you are worth more than that!

We as a people have been programed to believe all types of nonsense.

From the time we are born we are taught everything but! what the Word of God says about our worth.

A young lady is told that if a man wants to marry her, that he should be able to financially support her.

In other words her body is a money making machine and has a price attached to it.

What kind of parent would not encourage their little girl to work hard to be the best? The best student,person,or even worker that she could be. Instead a parent instills in their little girl,to manipulate and prostitute her way through life.

Young ladies, God says that you are worth more than that!

A young man is told that if he wants to marry a young lady, that he should have a good job so that he can take care of her financially.

In other words he is a trick or john and will have to pay for his wife to make love to him.

Men have been programed to believe that the way to a woman's heart is through gifts, the more gifts he can give her the more she will love him.

In other words, a man is worth nothing without money.

Women have been programed to believe that just because they are a woman and the thing they have between their legs, men should and will pay for everything.

Why is it that men do not understand that what they have between their legs is equally valuable?

But why were they not programed to says," if you like it you should have put a ring on it."

There is an old saying,"That you have to pay the cost to be the boss."

This also is a silly statement.

The Bible says,"But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God."1st Corinthians 11:3

If God has made you the spiritual head of the woman without any cost,why would you believe that you have to pay for her?

A man who is not connected to his head which is Jesus Christ, cannot be the spiritual head of a woman. A woman who follows a man that is not living their life according to the words of the Bible is not wise.

The Bible says, " who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies." Proverbs 31:10

Ladies,If God says that you are worth more than earthly riches, why would you devalue yourself by trading your body for these things?

Some women were taught by their mothers, not to lay down with a man unless she is getting something for it.

What should have been said," is that it is a sin for a lady to lay down with a man period, unless they are married to him."

Hebrews 13:4 says,"Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled:but whore mongers and adulterers God will judge."

What is your Motive?,What is the reason behind why you do what you do?

Women, what makes you get with a man? Do you get with him because he has money?because he is cute?because you need to get out of your mothers house?because you heard he was good in bed?what is your motive?

Men, what makes you seek out a young lady? because she is fine?because she can cook?because you are curious to know if she is good in bed?What is your motive?

The Bible says,"when a man finds a wife he finds a good thing and obtains favor of God." Proverbs 18:22

The Bible says a virtuous woman works and makes her money with her own hands!"

"She seeks wool, and flax, and works willingly with her hands." Proverbs 31:13"She considers a field, and buys it:with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard.Proverbs 31:16 "She makes fine linen, and sells it; and delivers girdles unto the merchant."Proverbs 31:24

The Bible says that a harlot or a programed woman gets money for laying with men." Proverbs 7:5-27

A relationship has to be founded on a solid foundation or it will fail.You can not marry someone because they were nice, there are alot of nice!people on the earth.You cannot marry someone because they have alot of money, because when the money leaves and it will leave, what is your relationship going to be like after it's gone?You cannot first, sleep with someone then marry them because they are good in bed and think God will bless something that was founded on fornication.

These are just a few of the mistakes we make, not understanding that we are worth more than that.

She makes a very valid point, we are here on earth for greater things than to be a husband or wife. So if God allows two people to come together it is for the sake of bring souls back to Him as a couple and not just so they can have babies,travel,buy a house and some other things.

" What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" Matthew 16:26

Will you exchange your soul for money?will you exchange your soul for sex outside of wedlock?you are worth more than that!

"No man can serve to masters:for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. ye cannot serve God and mammon(wealth)." Matthew 6:24

Brothers and Sisters you have to make up you mind! are you going to serve God or are you going to serve money?

"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust do corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust do corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:For where your treasure is there will your heart be also." Matthew 6:19-21

Brothers and Sisters is your heart on making it to heaven or staying here on earth?

"But as it is written, Eye have not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him."1St Corinthians 2:9

"Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in Me(Jesus).In my Father's house are many mansions:if it were not so,I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also." John 14:1-3

Brothers and Sisters you are worth more than what this world can offer, Jesus has prepare a place for us that is a whole lot better than this one.

DON'T MISS OUT ON IT CHASING THINGS THAT HAVE NO REAL VALUE.

"For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out." Timothy 6:7

" If He set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust. JOB 34:14-15

"All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again."Ecclesiastes 3:20

Brothers and Sisters these flesh bodies we live in are only temporary.We are spirits and we shall return to our natural bodies one day.

Jesus Christ is coming back!

You are worth more than how you have been living your lives.

Stop and repent!

You are worth more than that.

Just because I can.

We are living in a world where anything goes, people do and say whatever it is that makes them feel good.

Unto our own demise do we continue in this behavior, ignorant of the devices of the enemy(Satan).

The Bible teaches us that, "All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but i will not be brought under the power of any." 1st Corinthians 6:12

In other words God has given us a free will, but it is not profitable to do things just because we can.

The Bible teaches that in the end times people are going to become lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

2ND Timothy 3:1-5.

In other words don't keep company with someone who blatantly disobeys the word of God.

We say we love Jesus but we allow ourselves to be brought under the power of our lust.

You can eat as much as you want, but why do you allow your flesh to take over you til you weight 400lbs?

You are physically stronger than someone else, but why do you hurt them just because you can?

The bible says, you can drink a little wine and drink of all the wonderful natural resources that God put here for you to enjoy, but why do you drink of the one thing He tells us not to drink of (Strong Drink)?

Proverbs 20:1 "Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise."

Proverbs 23:29-30 "who has woe? who has sorrow? who has contentions? who hath babbling? who has wounds without cause? who has redness of eyes? They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine."

You can have as much sex as you want while married, but why do you sleep with others outside of God's holy union.

1St Corinthians 6: 9-10 "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?

Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor Idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

Jesus said in the book of John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commandments."

You have a free will, God will not tell you to stop fornicating but the wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23.

Men as a result of your actions you can find yourself broke from child support,die from disease,and lose your soul. If you are a woman you can create all kinds of health problems for yourself, find yourself having to care for many children from different fathers, as well as die of disease and lose your soul also.

Just because men want to buy you things doesn't mean you have to take it.

Just because women find you attractive and want to sleep with you doesn't mean you have to do it.

You can be part of the problem or part of the solution. If each of us would only say no to the next time a man or women ask to sleep with them, we can make a difference!

If each one of us would only say no the next time someone asked you to betray someone else for money, we can make a difference!

If each one of us would only say no the next time someone asked you to join in on their misery by hating your neighbor, we can make a difference!

Everything is available to you to do in this world but everything that you do is not right in the sight of God.

Stop doing things just because you can. David Letterman according to the world's standards was and is a powerful television host ,because of this women offered him sex for the opportunity to work for him, he did not have to take it but he did.

President Bush; sat in the seat of the most powerful country in the free world, he did not have to abuses that power but he did and started a war that has not ended yet.

A young girl is born with natural beauty, she does not have to prostitute herself out to men for money, but she does just because she can.

We have adults and children cursing or swearing every chance they get. It has been said in the past," I am grown I can do whatever I want to do. I can curse, drink, have sex out of wedlock, get high, fight, act silly, and etc.

You are right, you can but why would you do these things that are unprofitable for you to do?

Jesus Christ died on the cross for your and my sins, why would you want to repay His kindness by sinning?

Jesus said that He came to earth not to do His own will, but to do the will of the Father that sent Him.

When it came time for Him to die, Jesus said, "nevertheless not as I will, but as you will."Matthew 26:39 letting us know that God the Father knows what's best for our lives.

The Bible says Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge God and He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

What makes a Man a Man?

Many of us were taught different things about what makes a man a man. Today we are going to take a good look into what God says, makes a man.

The confidence of a man is founded on many things. His physical health, his mental health, his ability to earn income, and many other things. A carnal minded man can easily find himself entangled in this web of Satan's lies.

In a world not operating in the wisdom which God teaches, but operating in the wisdom which man teaches, a young and even an old man can find themselves in a great deal of confusion.

I Corinthians 2:4-7 Says,

4 "My speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power." 5 " That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God." 6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes (high ranking men)of this world, that come to nought." 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory."

Some men were taught that a man's worth is based on his ability to make money.

THIS IS A LIE!

The Bible teaches us that a wise man knows that God is the provider of the entire world.

That no man is to place this huge burden on his own shoulders.

Philippians 4:19 " God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
Matthew 6:31-33 " Take no thought, saying, what shall we eat? or, what shall we drink?or, where shall we be clothed? 32 "For after all these things do the Gentiles ( unbelievers) seek, for your heavenly Father know that ye have need of all these things." 33 " But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

For this reason do men die earlier than women on this earth. For this reason we have had men take their own lives when failing to provide for a woman or his children. For this reason do men compromise the words of God for money. But this is only one untruth about what makes a man a man that is causing so much death and destruction.

The Bible speaks of two kinds of women; a virtuous woman and the harlot.

The virtuous woman is not dependant on the labor of her husband, she makes her own money. She shows love to her husband as well as her children and none of them feel not loved. She is wise in the word of God and lives her life with honor because of the word. She will not stray from her husband and he trusts her 100%. She is kind to the poor and to the needy.

This is a description of a virtuous women according to proverbs 31:10-31 read it when you can.

The harlot seeks to prey on a man which lacks wisdom, she speaks flattering and flirtatious words. She lures a man to sleep with her while her husbands away. She empties a man's pockets with her request and her demands. She may be the most beautiful woman you have ever seen, but there is a world of trouble attached to her. She is loud and bossy, but it does not mean that she can not be subtle.

This is a description of a harlot according to Proverbs 7:5-27 read it when you can.

Proverbs 7:26-27 " many strong men have been slain by her." 27 " Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death."

Proverbs 31:30 " Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that fears the Lord, she shall be praised."


This is the second Lie that Satan uses to make fools out of men. A man's ego, a proud man will hurt someone over a woman's words. A proud man will not hear God, but will cleave to every word of a woman. A proud man will let his lower body part think for him, instead of the brain that God has given him. The bad advice of a father, uncle, friend, or brother can cause a man to destroy his life over the wrong kind of woman.

CHOOSE WISELY!

II Corinthians 6:14 " Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Many of you were taught that a man's worth was based on his ability to earn income. a woman would want you based on this belief, your children would respect you based on this belief, and your very manhood was based on this belief.

Let us disprove this lying myth.

If that is true, then according to your belief your wife has the right to leave you and get with another man who still has a job if you loose yours. right?

If that is true, then if you are hurt and cannot earn money anymore then you are worthless and your wife is free to go according to the word of God. right?
If that is true, then you are not a man if you can't earn money then many are justified when they commit suicide. right?

SEE HOW FOOLISH THIS WAY OF THINKING IS?

Learn the truth about What makes a Man a Man.

Study the Word of God.

Romans 12:2

" Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The Great Philosopher?

There were many great philosophers recorded in our history and there are many philosophers today that fill the the world with their opinions about God's word.

We have positive thinking preachers, motivational speaking preachers, prosperity teaching preachers, creative thinking preachers, we have scientific thinking preachers, we have many philosophers but are any of them teaching the truth?

Paul talks about one of these types in the book of Acts chapter 17 starting at the 18th verse.

The Apostle Paul said that he was not welcomed among these false teachers for obvious reasons, for they taught a version of God's word which brought people into bondage(religion)where as his teachings set the people free of any bondage.

Paul goes on to say that these philosophers perceived what he was saying as a new doctrine(teaching)because of there lack of understanding the very Word of God that they themselves taught from.

It was not a new understanding of the Word, but it was the true understanding of the Word!

Like the people of today they desired to hear some new fancy way of speaking God's word and Paul refers to these religious people as superstitious.Verses 21 &22 in the book of Acts chapter 17.

II Timothy 4:3-4 " For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."

Paul speaks of today's times in the book of Timothy, a time when anything goes in religion. Gay ministers of music, women Pastors,greed and wealth seekers,vain and self satisfying people, choosing doctrines that allow them to seek after and continue in their own lust.

Today we are living in one of the most talked about and prophesied times ever recorded among men.

we are literally living out the contents of the Holy Bible.

Why is this important to know?

Because the Bible refers to Satan as the deceiver of this world Revelation 12:9.

Now Jesus biggest opposition was religion and the teachings of religious leaders.

Jesus was recorded in the book of Matthew 15:8-9 saying " 8 This people draw nigh unto me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men".

Everyone on the entire earth has an opinion and are entitled to their opinion, but when it comes to our Father's word, there is the truth and there are lies.

The Truth will make you free! John 8:32

Where as lies will deceive you and bring you into bondage!

"Through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you" 2nd Peter 2:3

According to the word of God there would come a time where men speaking on behalf of God would really be agents of the devil.

II Corinthians 11:13-15

13" For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14"And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 " Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."

Satan was God's highest ranking angel, he knows the word of God very well.

Let us see an example of this in the book of Matthew chapter 4 verse 5 & 6;

5 "Then the devil took him up into the holy city, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6" And saith unto him, if thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone."

Notice that Satan is quoting the word of God or shall I say miss quoting the word of God? For he said it is written.

If you read Psalm 91:11-12 you will see that Satan altered what the scriptures actually said.

This is an example of how easily someone can change the truth of God's word into a lie.

There is a thin line between truth and a lie, a thin line between right and wrong.

Example: God says" thou shall not kill " Exodus 20:13

Example: God also says" if any mischief follow, then thou shall give life for life." Exodus 21:23

We can see that it is true that God does not want us to set out to kill someone without a cause. but it is also true that God has put a law in place to deal with those who deliberately set out to kill someone, that person is to be put to death by the law that God has put in place.

Satan knows how to alter the words of God to deceive mankind.

The Bible says " For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect" Matthew 24:24

These are the times that the Bible speaks about!

We are living in the times of Preachers standing before us with their philosophies,opinions,covetousness,and pride.

Refusing to to speak the word of God plainly but rather speaking enticing words of vanity drawing many to their destruction.

The time is short people!

The Bible says, " Beloved believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." 1st John 4:1

Many people are being deceived in these time as it is written so shall it be done.

All that is written in the word of God has to come to past, for all scripture must be fulfilled.

BUT YOU DON"T HAVE TO BE DECEIVED!

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2nd Timothy 2:15

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that give to all men liberally, and upbraid not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. Colossians 2:16-17

IN OTHER WORDS DON'T LET SOME PERSON FROM A RELIGION TELL YOU THAT YOU HAVE TO COME TO THERE ORGANIZATION TO KNOW OR UNDERSTAND THE WORD OF GOD!

DON'T BE DECEIVED BY THEIR TITLES OR POPULAR STATUS IN THIS WORLD!

Jesus said:

Matthew 7:21-23

21"Not everyone that says unto me Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 " Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 " And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

BEING RELIGIOUS IS NOT THE SAME AS SERVING GOD.

GOING INTO SOME ORGANIZATION FROM WEEK TO WEEK WILL NOT GAIN YOU FAVOR WITH GOD.

Good people let us humble ourselves and get right with God.

The time is short. It is too much at stake, even your very soul.

So the next time someone tells you about the word of God, check what they say against what the Bible says to see if it is true.
